Photo Of The Day - Days 1-7

It would appear that I have 10 weeks of Photo Of The Day posts to catch up on, so without all that jibber jabber, here are days 1-7!

Day 1:
Tom and I spent New Years Eve with my sister, brother in law, and nephew which has become quite the tradition over the past few years. This little pile of Ezra's shoes by their back door was just so sweet I couldn't help snagging a picture before we left in the wee hours of the new year.

Day2:

Some days I use inspiration prompts provided by the CaptureYour365 blog. Today's was "new beginnings". I took this literally as I just so happened to be starting a brand new compact of makeup. Perfectly pressed powder is so hard for me to just muss up, taking a picture of it first helped.

Day3:

The Day 3 prompt was "repetition." This is Fender feeling terrible for stealing Tom's shoes to cuddle with while we were out. Tele is back there basically rolling her eyes at him. This happens pretty regularly, and he feels just this terrible every time.

Day 4:

So, um...I already messed up. That's right, 4 days in and I somehow didn't take a single picture with my camera or my phone. Ugh. Moving on...

Day 5:

This is our niece, Alexis (our other niece, Meredith is in the background). She is hysterically funny and has, since she was less than 1 years old, had a thing with growling. She is so joyful and affectionate, but one of the ways she expresses her happiness and love is with ferocious roars. She loves me a lot here. A. Lot.

Day 6:

Seriously? Again? ALREADY? So, it's pretty evident at this point that I'll have a few less than 365 pictures at the end of the year...my bad. Developing habits may not be a strength of mine.

Day 7:
Today's prompt was "movement". These are Fender's favorite toys, and this is exactly how he left them strewn about for me to find that night. We always laugh at how Fender carries around his stuffed toys and shows them off. He doesn't really want you to throw them and make him fetch, he just walks them around the house with them dangling proudly from his mouth.

So here's hoping I don't continue to miss 2 out of every 7 days...that would be embarrassing.
